Former BBC Specialists Participate in Members of Parliament's Questioning Following Allegations of Bias in Unauthorized Memorandum

Ex- British Broadcasting Corporation consultants testifying in front of MPs

We start with inquiries from Tory Member of Parliament the panel's head, who leads the group.

She commences by providing details to the unauthorized document authored by Michael Prescott and published in a national newspaper.

"It is not my wish for the British Broadcasting Corporation slanting toward one side or the other, My only wish is for it neutral, fair and just," he declares.

Upon being questioned whether he believes the British Broadcasting Corporation is systematically partial, he answers: "No, I do not. To be clear, a great deal the British Broadcasting Corporation creates is top-tier - both documentary and entertainment shows."

Nevertheless, he states: "There remains real work that must be undertaken at the BBC."

Another former external British Broadcasting Corporation specialist examined by the panel, Caroline Daniel, says she regards the British Broadcasting Corporation extremely earnestly and that it has a "ongoing system and vigorous discourse" across dynamic and complex topics.

"Did the BBC ready to have a proper dialogue and argument and implement changes?" she reflects. "From my perspective, yes they were."
