Los Angeles witnessed citywide festivities after the Dodgers won a nail-biting seven-match World Series championship. Supporters worldwide joined local residents in jubilation, marking the initial time in 25 years that a team has achieved back-to-back championships.
Celebration Parade Attracts Enormous Crowds
Los Angeles area celebrations featured a procession through the city center on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at the team's home stadium, and spontaneous parties throughout the city.
Online footage depict countless of Angelenos flooding city center avenues, many displaying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The squad was seen riding high on a open-top bus through the crowds, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy high.
“My focus is already about the next championship we’re going to do this,” Shohei Ohtani stated through an translator.
The procession path concluded at the stadium, where the team walked out to the rapper’s “Not Like Us,” with DJ Mustard spinning music and the artist driving a Pacific blue vintage Cadillac around the field.

In contrast, Mark Walter was met with a less warm reception at the rally. Recordings from the gathering seem to depict him taking the stage to a combination of applause and boos, with jeers interrupting his speech.
